About The Song

This was a song that came out of me pretty quickly. The lyrics took me about 10 minutes after an emotional roller coaster of a year. We are all dealing with COVID in our own way. The general motif echoes what Sting said in If You Love Somebody Set Them Free. It’s about the hope of the future but knowing and understanding that the you need to let go to get there. It’s also been 7 years since I put a song out so I’m very proud of this.

Release Date: February 5th 2021 Album: Two Paths (Single) Fun Fact: I had a big guitar solo at the end but when listening to a mix one night I came up with the end “And I don’t want to say goodbye” and that was a statement enough to remove the solo all together.
